A screenplay is a technical document pretending to be literature: 90 to 120 pages in a format producers can budget and actors can play, where everything must be visible or audible on screen. Ideas do not survive bad formatting in this industry; unread scripts die in the first five pages. Our screenwriters deliver properly structured, professionally formatted drafts that can be handed to a producer, a contest, or a director without apology.

Book-to-screenplay adaptation is our most requested version of this service, usually from authors we already published. Adaptation is surgery, not transcription: a 90,000-word novel becomes a 110-page script only by choosing what the story is really about and cutting everything else. We tell you what we are cutting and why before we cut it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I keep the rights and the writing credit?

Both, entirely. Work-for-hire contract: the screenplay, its copyright, and the credit are yours. If it sells, the money and the name on screen are yours too.

Can you turn my book into a screenplay?

Yes, adaptation is our core screenplay work. Expect real structural change: subplots merge, timelines compress, interior monologue becomes visible action. We agree on the adaptation approach in the treatment stage before drafting.

Will you help me sell the screenplay?

We are writers, not agents, and we say so. What we provide is the professional script plus optional pitch materials, and honest guidance on contests, fellowships, and query strategy where scripts actually get discovered.
