Terms of Service

Scope and quotes

Every project is governed by a written quote stating price, deliverables, milestones, and revision terms. The quote does not change unless the scope changes, and scope changes are agreed in writing before any additional billing.

Payments

Projects begin with a deposit of approximately 30% of the quoted fee. Remaining payments are tied to milestone deliveries you approve. We do not require full payment upfront. If you end a project early, you owe only the milestones already triggered, and you keep all work delivered to that point.

Ownership

All commissioned work is delivered under work-for-hire terms: on final payment for each milestone, copyright and all subsidiary rights in that work transfer to you. Retail and distribution accounts (such as Amazon KDP) are created under your identity and remain yours. Scriters claims no royalty share and no credit unless you choose to give it.

Confidentiality

Your project details, manuscripts, and personal stories are confidential. We offer an NDA before any sensitive material is shared, and confidentiality obligations survive the end of the engagement. We do not reference your project publicly without written permission.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee bestseller status, sales volumes, review counts, or acceptance by any third-party platform (including Amazon and Wikipedia), because no honest provider can. We promise defined work, delivered to professional standard, on the agreed schedule.
