Professional Ghostwriting Services
A ghostwriter writes your book in your voice while you keep full credit, copyright, and royalties. Scriters ghostwriting starts at $0.18 per word, with milestone payments and an NDA signed before you share a single idea.

Most people who should write a book never do, not because they lack the story, but because a book is 40,000 to 80,000 words of structured, revised, publishable writing. Our ghostwriters close that gap. You bring the idea, the expertise, or the life story. We bring the interviews, the outline, the drafts, and the discipline to finish.
This market is full of agencies that hide prices, invent portfolios, and upsell after the deposit clears. We built Scriters to be the opposite: rates on this page, a written scope before any payment, roughly 30% to start rather than 100% upfront, and a contract that assigns every right in the finished manuscript to you. Your name goes on the cover. Ours never does.
What you get
Structured interviews and writing samples let your writer reproduce how you actually talk, so the book reads like you on your best day.
You review and approve the outline first, then chapters in batches. You are never surprised by a finished draft you have not shaped.
Structural notes and line-level changes are included in the quoted price, with a written revision policy instead of vague promises.
Work-for-hire contract: copyright, royalties, and all subsidiary rights are yours. We claim no credit and no back-end percentage.
NDA before discovery. Nobody learns we wrote your book unless you tell them.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire a ghostwriter?
Industry-wide, ghostwriting runs from $0.10 per word for new writers to $2.00 or more for writers with bestseller credits. Scriters rates start at $0.18 per word, so a typical 40,000-word nonfiction book starts around $7,200. You get a fixed written quote before paying anything.
Do I own the book? Will the ghostwriter get royalties?
You own everything. Our contracts are work-for-hire: copyright, royalties, film rights, and translation rights all belong to you. We never take a royalty share and never publish your book under our own accounts.
How long does ghostwriting a book take?
A 40,000 to 60,000-word book typically takes 4 to 7 months including interviews, drafting, and two revision rounds. Shorter ebooks can finish in 6 to 10 weeks. Your quote includes a milestone schedule with dates.
Is your writing done by AI?
Your book is written by a human writer, and your contract says so. Writers may use software for research organization and transcription, and we disclose exactly how in the scope document. We will never sell you unedited AI output as ghostwriting.
Can I see samples or talk to the writer first?
Yes. After the NDA you see genre-relevant samples, and you interview the writer we propose before anything is signed. If the voice is not right, we propose another writer or part ways with nothing owed.
